"A year ago we moved to Woombah for employment reasons and we started the process of looking for a home to purchase. We looked at display homes and talked to builders but until we went to Ballina and looked at a Craftsman Home we'd had no success.
At Craftsman we met a salesman. He was most helpful. We picked a plan we liked and told him what alterations we would like. He made the alterations and drew up a plan.
From start to finish Craftsman contact us whenever a problem arose and never went ahead until we said to. their tradespeople were very efficient and their work was of a high standard. The home was finished well on time.
We have been in our home for three months now and have found that Craftsman Homes after sales service is good as the service we received from the time we signed the contract until the house was finished. We would recommend Craftsman Homes to anyone wanting to build a new home"
(North Coast client 2002)

"My fellow home buyers, having worked around the halls of Old Parliament House for many years I have become somewhat of an expert of fine workmanship, quality materials, attention to the finest detail and I also have an appreciation for excellent design.
When I was looking for a builder to help me with a retirement investment, I searched for a team who could satisfy my needs. Let me say this, Craftsman Homes professional approach, from the first contact to handover, impressed me greatly.
Having said that, the ease in which the project was completed without me having to be on the job during construction was a pleasant surprise.
So I tell you, if you don't go to Craftsman Homes for your new home you could be missing out on one of the best deals available in Australia.
(Canberra client RJ Hawk)

"We were guided in the choice of our home, with free design consultations and the inclusions which Craftsman Homes provide are of an extremely high standard.
Our home was built on time, within budget, and the quality of our finished home is superior to that of a "Project Home" builders. We can only offer the greatest praise for the Craftsman Home Team."
(Wollongbar Client)

"Hi, Craftsman Homes have just completed my new home and I am totally rapt.
From my first visit, to the handing over of the keys, the Craftsman Homes team was co-operative, helpful, really professional and easy to get on with.
Craftsman Homes built me a customised version of one of their huge range of designs. It took less time to build than I imagined.
The finished product is better than I expected and the competitive initial price quoted me was in fact the final price I paid for my new home. The only extra costs I had were for variations I asked for.
So if you are looking for a quality home at a realistic price, you can't go past the team at Craftsman Homes."

Dear Paul,
Re: Building Excellence

This is a testament with regards to excellence in building our new home through Craftsman Homes Southern Highlands.

We started with weighing up the odds of fixing up the old house or building brand new.

I found Craftsman Homes on the internet and gave them a ring. I explained our circumstances and budget to Allana and within the hour was emailed several homes that had been built before with prices to peruse.

As first time home builders, we naturally were reluctant to pursue any new home until we met up with Nick and Allana to see what firstly was possible on our land, secondly, an estimated cost and lastly but most importantly, what council would and would not allow.

From our initial meeting with Nick and Allana we knew we were in good hands. They were not from this area but obviously investigated all aspects of the local councils DCP and informed us of what was clearly acceptable by council and what was not.

We then agreed that a knock down rebuild was the best way to go and Craftsman Homes Southern Highlands was our choice builder.

Too be frank, to date, we never heard a complaint from Craftsman about our pain in the butt council or rangers and yet we knew there were several hiccups, hurdles and constraints.

The day after demolition completion, Nick commenced preparation to build. In fact, from start to finish, the build took 3 months and 1 week. There were no corners cut, just hard work and long hours put into our home and it shows!

Our home is beautiful. It turned out to be beyond the expected. The craftsmanship, quality and dedication from both Nick and Allana are a true testament that Craftsman Homes Southern Highlands are well worth their weight in gold and we would have no hesitation to recommend the team to anyone considering building a new home.

If anyone would like to discuss this matter in further detail, please do not hesitate to call us.

Yours Sincerely,

Shelley Gold & Steven Harrity.

Dear Richard,

Thank you for forwarding the Final Occupation Certificate from the Great Lakes Council which completes the contract to build our new home at Winda Woppa, Hawks Nest.

We are very pleased with the building and look forward to many, many years spent enjoying bout our new holiday home and the lovely location.

We want to thank you for all your efforts to bring our plans to fruition and the manner in which the many items which needed discussion were handled. Trough out the six months construction, the work progressed smoothly and in a very satisfactory manner. Our neighbours in fact went out of their way to comment on how well the site was managed and the lack of disruption to the immediate area.

We are very pleased with the quality of the building and the workmanship has been excellent. Both inside and out, the house looks and feels first rate.

Thank you Richard for your helpful assistance throughout and also we express our sincere appreciation to all of the pleasant and professional people who worked on the project. You have a great team.

With our thanks and good wishes.

To Whom it May Concern

24th January 2010

Our building project started when we discovered a building block, that whilst having some extreme gradients, also offered the promise of extensive bush & water views.

After a search of local & out of Sydney builders, I came across Craftsman Homes. We had a look at their range of homes finding that there were a number that had the potential to fit what we were after.

Our object was to build an open plan house, which took advantage of the natural bush and river views.

What really sealed it for me, in terms of having the confidence to deal with Craftsman Homes, was meeting the Southern Highlands Craftsman team of Nick & Allana Storrier.

Nick struck me as a no non-sense builder whose word could be relied upon and he was ably supported by his wife Allana, who handled all the paperwork.

We spent a number of weeks designing floor plans based on our needs. These rough sketches were then passed on to Nick & Allana, who came back to us with further plans which had been reworked by the staff at Craftsman’s head office.

We settled on the design and plans were submitted to council. Due to the fact that our land was in fire prone area, there were a number of hurdles which had to be negotiated with council and the Rural Fire Service.

The actual building commenced in late July 2009 and the project moved ahead swiftly, culminating in completion in early December 2009.

Both my wife and I are very happy with the finished product, we have a house which is very functional and has added bonus of expansive bush and water views.

Yours faithfully
